Providence St. Joseph Health Painter - Facilities Construction in Seattle, Washington

Description We are seeking a skilled Painter with strong expertise across a wide range of wall finishes and paint coatings. This role requires hands-on proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple surfaces and materials in both maintenance and installation environments. Key Responsibilities: Perform preparation, maintenance, installation, and finishing of floor, wall, and ceiling surfaces Execute high-quality painting services, including color matching and mixing Tape, mud, and finish wallboard to a professional standard Install and maintain wall coverings and cove base Prepare and paint mechanical system components as required Conduct rated wall inspections and perform related maintenance Utilize and maintain all standard painter tools and equipment Work effectively with a variety of materials, including wallboard, wood, metal, and plastics Perform demolition of walls and casework as needed Provide recommendations during design phases or when diagnosing surface or finish issues Maintain accurate inventory and proper use of products within the Painting discipline This position is ideal for a dependable professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, understands surface preparation and coating systems, and can adapt to a variety of environments and materials. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
