Your role and responsibilities
Job Description
A Senior Solutions Architect is expected to be knowledgeable in Oracle SCM Cloud Costing and Manufacturing. As an SCM Solution Architect, using the industry and Oracle SCM product experience, you will manage the full implementation lifecycle of an SCM engagement. You will lead the project team by inculcating leading practices in gathering requirements via client interviews or workshops, solution design, product setups, and integration design.
In this role, you will help define and justify the business case, develop implementation plans, track progress against plans, provide expert functional and manage client expectations. You would be responsible for following Accelalpha implementation methodology and would be considered as the go-to person for SCM Cloud Costing and Manufacturing. You will be responsible for reviewing the deliverables and provide quality assurance for the project. You will coach junior consultants on industry leading practices and implementation practices in all stages of the implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of solutions in Oracle SCM Cloud Costing and Manufacturing, providing oversight and hands-on contributions to the design, development and integration of the application implementation.
Work closely and collaboratively with client stakeholders to understand their business requirements, provide strategic guidance and architect solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle SCM Cloud Costing and Manufacturing.
Lead the design of comprehensive solutions leveraging your expertise and the expertise of the team to ensure alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
Lead the functional solution architecture process. Develop scalable and sustainable architecture designs that adhere to industry best practices.
Collaborate with the technical team to design and implement integrations between Oracle SCM Cloud and other 3rd party systems to ensure seamless data flow and operability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to developers, analysts, workstream leads, project managers and Oracle to deliver successful outcomes.
With workstream leads, configure Oracle Cloud applications to meet requirements utilizing built-in features.
This role can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
Required technical and professional expertise
Extensive experience with Costing and Manufacturing Oracle Cloud Applications. Other modules are a plus and highly beneficial: Planning, Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, PDH, MDM/CDM, Quality.
Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight.
At least 15 years of experience in a professional services company.
7-10 years of experience as a delivery consultant and at least 3 years’ experience as a senior delivery lead or Solution Architect. Must be able to lead effective and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify risks and issues and propose effective solutions using Oracle Cloud ERP.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle Cloud applications to meet specific client business requirements.
Knowledge of SaaS implementation lifecycle, including details of requirements, process validation, Design, CRP, configuration, build, test phases.
Ability to interact with and manage expectation of client Senior management, members of project team and client team members.
Ensure the delivery of the high-quality deliverables.
Good Analytical and Communication skills, Planning and Co-ordination skills.
