Harborview Medical Center – Emergency Department Registration/Admitting has an outstanding opportunity to hire a Manager of Program Operations .

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

  • Monday – Friday

  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Provide operational leadership for Emergency Department Registration and Admitting at Harborview Medical Center.

  • SupportHospital Operations across three hospitals through reporting, dashboards, and process standardization related to Admitting and ED workflows.

  • Partner with clinical teams and operational leaders to ensure efficient patient access and registration processes across the organization.

  • Lead regulatory compliance efforts related to patient access functions, including oversight of consent forms and state agency requirements.

  • Supervise and support Patient Access leadership and staff serving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for Emergency Department Registration and Admitting functions at Harborview Medical Center.

  • Manage and support Patient Access Services Supervisors responsible for ED Registration and Admitting teams.

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, accurate, and complete patient registration and admitting processes.

  • Plan and coordinate staffing resources with supervisors to meet operational needs and departmental goals.

  • Develop, monitor, and analyzeoperational metrics, dashboards, and reports to support hospital operations and continuous improvement.

  • Standardize workflows and processes across departments related to ED registration and admitting practices.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements, including consent forms and applicable state guidelines.

  • Collaborate with internal partners including clinical teams, hospital leadership, and revenue cycle departments.

  • Serve as a liaison with state agencies, including DSHS and HCA, regarding applicable patient access requirements.

  • Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and overall patient access experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field and/or Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Five or more years of leadership experience in healthcare Patient Access, including experience with registration, emergency department workflows, or admitting operations.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.

$80,292.00 annual
