Trident Seafoods Corporation LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR in Seattle, Washington
*Summary: *The Logistics Supervisor oversees day to day logistics operations, supervises staff, ensures workflow accuracy, and supports continuous improvement to enable operational efficiency and long term supply chain growth. The role also leverages analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, evaluate process gaps, and provide data driven insights that improve shipment accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance operational decision making across the logistics function.
Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics issues.
- Monitor shipment accuracy, timelines, and documentation compliance.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
- Manage carriers, vendors, and service providers.
- Ensure proper use of logistics systems and tools.
- Escalate operational risks or delays to the Logistics Manager.
- Regularly works onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.

*This is an exempt position with an annualized salary range of $82,000 to $100,000. *

Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications: (Education, Years of Experience, Certifications)
- Associates degree.
- 3 to 5 years of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience.
- Some leadership experience that may include leading projects, owning projects/programs or coordinating work with others.
- Experience using Power BI for data visualization, KPI monitoring, and translating logistics data into actionable insights.
Preferred Education & Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience leading or supervising staff preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Strong working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), with emphasis on E2open TMS for shipment planning, execution, tracking, and performance analytics.
ERP system proficiency, specifically SAP, including navigation of logistics, inventory, and order related modules.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams), including ability to analyze data, create reports, and maintain operational documentation.
Strong understanding of logistics workflows, warehouse processes, and transportation operations.
