The UW Medical Center – Montlake Radiology Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Operations Specialist.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Serve as a key partner to the Department of Radiology to provide business support to leadership for key operational goals and initiatives.The department of Radiology is an essential department within UWMC serving over 500,000 patients annually.With over 350 employees over six campuses, this position will serve in a variety of roles and support/lead strategic activities.These will include assistance and execution of strategic programs specific to departmental staff communication, outpatient growth, provider liaison, employee retention and departmental operations.
This position will perform at a high level of independence, developing and leading program initiatives to serve our internal customers and staff in addition to our external referring providers. Under general direction, this position will perform complex business support functions to department leadership and establish systems processes, coordinate activities and analyze current workflows and practices to ensure departmental or unit compliance with policies and/or other external regulations. This position will provide day to day business support and calendar management to Radiology senior leaders.
The Program Operations Specialist will collaborate with operational leaders around growth and promotion of referrals to UWMC Radiology.Tactics will include analyzing patient care/referral data, recognizing trends, and recommending strategies for education and program outreach to our referring providers.Tools will include reporting, benchmarking, and alignment with agreed upon strategies and initiatives.In addition, this position will work with operational leaders to strategize and address issues brought forward by our referring providers and any communication/education required to resolve those issues.
This position will work to develop/maintain internal communication for staff, patient education/screening tools/patient satisfaction surveys, referring provider satisfaction surveys, website management, and marketing internal and external campaigns.This will include planning and organizing educational classes/lectures/seminars and staff engagement events and activities. Will be a primary point person for departmental events and communications.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Communication, outreach, and marketing related to Radiology referrals and provider satisfaction.
Developing/maintaining staff communication, publications, team building, and education planning.
Education materials/screening tools, patient satisfaction surveys, and website management.
Business support, calendar management, logistics of leaders and department activities.
Employee engagement activities.
Reporting, benchmarking around referral/care data.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience in program development and marketing in a healthcare setting to include: Outreach, Sales, Planning, Data Analysis, Presentation skills. Required experience in sales, sales strategy development. Understanding of industry economics, project management experience but not a PMP certification.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
