Engineer Sr:

• Deliver and support strategic initiatives utilizing the latest in computing technologies and operating across customer transactions and data elements.
• Identify, design, develop and deploy technology and process solutions establishing key business capabilities and platform features, enabling the realization of strategy initiatives and operational improvements.
• Perform requirements analysis, solution design, technical development, and process improvement coupled with the ability to work effectively across various IT and business functions. 
• Build solutions that are secure, durable, scalable, flexible, and proactively mitigates against production support issues. 
• Leverage established design patterns and coding standards. 
• Key contributor and driver in the deployment approach, including planning and execution and transition of the solution to the platform's operational context. 
• Run and maintain a 24x7 production environment with on-call responsibility. 

Telecommuting permitted up to 20% per week. Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 10%.

Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $173,349 - $215,900 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a software engineering role.

Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in a software engineering role. Must have experience in each of the following:

• 3 years of experience in using data transport mechanisms and integrations, including SOA, synchronous, asynchronous, bulk data, and tightly and loosely coupled methods. 
• 2 years of experience in using Java based mid-tier systems.
• 2 years of experience in using SpringBoot.
• 2 years of experience in using RESTful services.
• 2 years of experience in using Linux platforms. 
• 2 years of experience in using Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• 2 years of experience in using Agile methodologies.
• 2 years of experience in using DevOps models.
• 2 years of experience in using Service oriented or RESTful API development.
• 2 years of experience in using Test-driven development processes. 
• 2 years of experience in using application architecture, infrastructure and security concepts, and technical implementations.
• 2 years of experience in using Cloud Computing platforms. 
• 1 year of experience in using NoSQL database technologies.

Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 10%.

Telecommuting permitted up to 20% per week.
