Job Summary Data Center Technician position at our downtown Seattle location. Responsibilities Installations Racks and stacks customer equipment Reads installation plans (Visio Drawings / Spreadsheets) and implements installation accordingly Queue Management Determines work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensures adherence to all commit times Testing/Troubleshooting Troubleshoots switched / multiplexed / media converted circuits; escalates to, and works with networking group, as needed Cross Connects Installs/tests/modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connects Installs and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.) Documentation/Reporting Maintains detailed written records of all work activity Projects Leads advanced installations; provides input and identifies problems with drawings, and assists with verification of custom projects Training May deliver training to others on operations procedures and basic safety Identifies site specific safety issues and integrates into training Customer Management Supports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order execution and quality assurance checks Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a data center technician Ability to install fiber trays, fiber ladders, rack and stack customer equipment High School Diploma Experience using BERT and SONET test equipment a plus Able to perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation Able to lift heavy equipment/items up to 50 pounds Able to work days/nights/weekends/holidays, if needed and/or required The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: United States - SE3 Seattle : 59,000 - 88,400 USD / Annual United States - SE2 Seattle : 59,000 - 88,400 USD / Annual Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
