Anthropic PBC Copyright Operations Program Manager in Seattle, Washington
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Legal, Engineering, Safeguards, and Support Ops to develop and iterate on copyright operations workflows
- Define and report on operational metrics --- volume, resolution times, compliance rates --- and use that data to identify gaps and improve processes
- Scale documentation, decision frameworks, and training materials that enable the program to grow beyond individual knowledge
- Identify and drive automation opportunities to reduce manual overhead and improve consistency
- Own end-to-end processing of copyright takedown notices and related policies, from intake through resolution
- Build and maintain specialized intake forms and playbooks as new product capabilities launch
- Support copyright compliance workflows, including transparency documentation and rights reservations
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in copyright operations, content moderation, or a closely related field with demonstrated program-building experience
- Familiarity with DMCA processes, copyright law fundamentals, or intellectual property operations --- you don't need to be a lawyer, but you should understand the basics of how takedown notices work and why they matter
- Experience building or significantly improving operational workflows --- taking something messy or manual and turning it into a repeatable, well-documented process
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work while also stepping back to design better systems
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and working in fast-moving environments where you're often building the playbook as you go
- Attention to detail and sound judgment when assessing whether a notice or request meets defined criteria
- Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Engineering, or Product teams to drive operational improvements
- Familiarity with international copyright or data regulations (EU AI Act, GDPR) is a plus but not required
- Experience with automation tooling, case management systems, or AI-assisted workflows is a plus
