Robert Half Complex Litigation Legal Assistant in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are looking for a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join our Complex Litigation team in Seattle. In this role, you will support attorneys within the Complex Litigation group, contributing to cases in federal courts and managing large-scale litigation tasks. This position offers a hybrid opportunity, with the flexibility to work remotely after an initial onboarding period. Candidates must be commutable to Seattle for trial purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file legal documents in federal courts with precision and attention to deadlines.

• Organize and manage trial exhibits, including visual aids, models, and mockups for complex litigation cases.

• Assist in trial preparation by coordinating discovery materials and ensuring thorough readiness for court proceedings.

• Maintain and update case files using case management software to ensure organized and accessible documentation.

• Collaborate with attorneys to create exhibit lists and handle large-scale document reviews.

• Support attorneys in managing case workflows, ensuring all litigation tasks are completed efficiently.

• Conduct administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and coordinating court appearances.

• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and court requirements for all filings and submissions.

• Provide general support for attorneys during trials and hearings to ensure smooth proceedings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a legal assistant handling large scale Litigation cases

• Proficiency in filing documents within federal courts.

• Strong knowledge and experience with case management software.

• Ability to manage and organize large volumes of exhibits and discovery materials.

• Familiarity with trial preparation processes, including visual aids and mockups.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with attorneys and other team members.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
