*Summary: *The Capital Projects (CapEx) Director leads the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of capital projects across a defined division or business unit. This role ensures that all capital investments align with organizational goals, are delivered on time and within budget, and meet quality and compliance standards. The director serves as the key liaison between executive leadership, project teams, and external stakeholders.
*Essential Functions: *
*Strategic Leadership *
- Develop and implement divisional capital investment strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead long-term planning for infrastructure, facilities, and asset development.
*Project Oversight *
- Manage the full lifecycle of capital projects---from initiation to completion.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for all divisional capital initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across all projects.
*Stakeholder Engagement *
- Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and executive leadership.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and board members.
*Team Management *
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including project managers, engineers, financial analysts, and contractors.
- Regularly work onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
*Performance & Reporting *
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics for capital projects.
- Provide regular reporting on project progress, financials, and strategic impact.
This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $163,000 to $207,000.
