UW Medical Center–Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager/RN3 to join us in our Main Operating Room.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full time
Evening Shift
Hours are 1100-2130
40 hours/week
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Assists with RN3 operational and leadership duties as applicable
Collaborates closely with the Nurse Manager, and Assistant Nurse Manager / RN3 peers

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Provides professional nursing care while supporting daily operations and team leadership within the unit. Serves as a clinical resource, supports staff development, and partners with the Nurse Manager to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver safe, high-quality patient care (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
Coordinate care across departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff
Support staff education, onboarding, and ongoing competency development
Assist with daily operations, including patient flow and staffing coordination
Promote effective communication among patients, families, and care team
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain standards of care
Provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members
Serve as charge nurse as assigned and participate in committees as needed
Assist with unit goals, program development, and process improvements
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Current Washington State Registered Nurse license or valid Multistate license.
Surgical Scrub experience strongly preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Masters Preferred
Minimum of two years of professional surgical nursing experience or equivalent education/experience.
Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room registered nurse, with proficiency in perioperative nursing practice

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$49.23 hourly
Pay Range Maximum:
$90.33 hourly
Other Compensation:
$1.25/hr Nursing Certification $5.00/hr nights $4.00/hr weekends $3.00/hr evening shift $1.00/hr BSN
