Job Title: Machine Operator Trainee
Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operator Trainee and embark on a journey to learn and excel in the production area of a copper manufacturing facility. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced operators, gaining valuable insights into the various facets of the position.
Responsibilities
Train in the production area under the guidance of experienced operators.
Learn and apply safety protocols within the manufacturing environment.
Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Stand for extended periods, up to 10-12 hours, while performing duties.
Handle lifting tasks up to 75 lbs as required in the manufacturing process.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing or labor-intensive warehouse environments.
Ability to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding tasks.
Safety-minded approach to working in a manufacturing environment.
Capability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Background in safety within a manufacturing facility is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility that is expansive and bustling with activity. Although construction activities may cause dust and clutter in some areas, your workstations will remain clean and organized. Choose from various shifts: 1st shift (8am to 4pm), 2nd shift (4pm to 12am) with a $1.50/hr shift differential, and 3rd shift (12am to 8am) with a $3.00/hr shift differential.

This is a Contract position based out of Sealy, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
