Job Description:

This job is responsible for analyzing the day-to-day issues, researching, and providing resolution for various issues identified within a business unit. Key responsibilities include supporting defined procedures, routine analytics, and creating reports and completing exception processing.

Line of Business Job Description

This role is responsible for researching, analyzing, and resolving day‑to‑day issues related to domestic and international wire transactions. Key tasks include performing all functions within the Wire Repair process, including interpreting, and resolving wire exceptions, conducting detailed transaction research, repairing wire transactions within internal systems, and administering in accordance with operational procedures. Expectations include supporting continuous improvement and understanding criticality of accurate, timely and appropriate actions as it relates to payment processing. The role may also participate in implementing new operational solutions, documenting processes, and supporting enhancements to wire processing products or services.

Success in this role requires strong computer literacy, accurate and efficient data entry, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment involving large‑dollar and sensitive transactions. The individual must demonstrate dependability, adaptability, sound prioritization skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with coordination of implementation for products, services, and operational solutions

  • Supports the design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services

  • Provides guidance regarding procedural, technical, and operational changes

  • Expands business products knowledge within operations environment

  • Builds network by developing relationships with partners and teammates

  • Inspects data to identify issues and trends

  • Collects and interprets data to validate operational processes

  • Produces and analyzes standard operational reports to support business and performance tracking

  • Delivers responsive, high‑quality customer service support to internal and external partners

  • Reviews, validates, and processes wire transactions in accordance with item processing procedures and controls

  • Meets established productivity, quality, and risk control standards while adhering to operational guidelines

  • Resolves routine operational issues and executes assigned deliverables to support day‑to‑day Wire Operations activities

  • Ensures accurate, timely, and effective Wire Operations support for internal business partners and external customers/clients

  • Effectively prioritizes daily work to meet service level expectations and critical payment deadlines (e.g., FED, CHIPS, IRS)

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of wire processes and procedures, while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and controls

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Operations

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Process Improvement, Wire Payments, ACH or a similar role within financial services or a regulated industry

  • Time management with a focus on competing priorities and strict deadlines is crucial

  • Analytical and high attention to detail

  • Communicates with impact; communicates effectively (written and verbal)

  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Ability to work independently, as well as, within a team.

  • Overtime as required
