Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems, manufacturing experience, and proficiency in troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and auxiliary equipment to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary production equipment.
Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to properly make repairs.
Dismantle machines and equipment to inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance.
Perform minor machining, welding, and plumbing tasks as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment conforms to safety regulations.
Communicate daily issues and information to supervisors and other employees.
Essential Skills
Industrial electrical experience, including PLC troubleshooting and VFDs.
Manufacturing experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of related experience in an industrial maintenance role required; 5+ years is ideal.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems of production machinery.
Experience with Allen Bradley and Fanuc is a plus.
Experience with industrial electric systems, including motors, motor controls, electrical panels, and electrical schematics.

Work Environment
Work in a collaborative culture where mechanics are encouraged to be proactive and decisive. The environment includes adjoining warehouses and manufacturing spaces, which can reach up to 110 degrees in the summer. The dress code is casual with long pants and a work shirt. The position involves 12-hour night shifts, Monday to Thursday, from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm and vice versa.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
