Job Title: Night Shift Production Assistant
Job Description
This role supports a plastic manufacturing operation by loading and unloading parts, preparing products for processing and shipment, and helping ensure that production goals and quality standards are consistently met on a rotating night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
Load and unload parts and products onto pallets in a safe and efficient manner.
Prepare parts and products for cutting according to specified measurements.
Stage and prepare parts and products to be shipped for powder coating.
Follow established quality standards and processes throughout the facility to maintain consistent product quality.
Monitor work area and materials to help identify and report any quality or process issues.
Support production deadlines and goals by working efficiently and staying organized on the production line.
Assist with general production, packaging, and inspection tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow all safety procedures.
Essential Skills
Experience in production, general labor, or general production environments.
Ability to perform packaging, packing, and inspection tasks with attention to detail.
Capability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Comfort working on a production line and following established processes.
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) on a 4x4 rotating schedule.
Comfort working in a fast-paced work environment.
Reliability and strong work ethic to help meet production deadlines and goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude or experience in mechanical or production settings is beneficial.
Willingness to learn and grow into roles such as machine operator, forklift operator, or lead.
Ability to work effectively within a team in a manufacturing setting.

Work Environment
This position is based in a plastic manufacturing facility operating on 4x4 rotating 12-hour shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The environment is not temperature controlled, so conditions may vary with the seasons. Work involves production, packaging, loading and unloading, and general labor tasks on or near production lines. There are two nearby buildings within approximately five miles of each other, each supporting a different business unit, and the role may support operations within this broader manufacturing footprint. The work does not involve heavy lifting, and tasks focus on handling parts, pallets, and packaging within standard industrial safety guidelines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
