Job Description
The Release Manager works collaboratively and closely with Software Development, Quality Assurance, IT, and Project teams to develop, deploy, and maintain application software and systems. The Release Manager is responsible for the Release Management lifecycle that includes stages such as scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, and deployment of the releases. The goal for this position is to have improved deployment frequency, shortened lead time between fixes, and quicker recovery time in the event of a failure. The Release Manager automates and streamlines the deployment pipeline to rapidly release reliable applications through configuration management. They will build and maintain tools to allow for deployment and testing into stable and scalable environments. This employee is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of large-scale infrastructure across multiple solutions and will work under the guidance of the DevOps Services Manager.

Skills and Requirements
2-3 years of previous experience as a DevOps or SysOps Engineer, or similar role.
Prior experience demonstrating consistent delivery of work and adherence to company protocols.
A strong knowledge of agile methodology and continuous integration and delivery.
Ability to apply knowledge and skills to practical technical solutions.
Candidates with hands-on Azure experience strongly preferred.
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others.
Possible out of state travel required.
Must be comfortable with some night and weekend work required.
