The Cigna Group Business Communications Lead Analyst - Remote in Scottsdale, Arizona
Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations may be asked to work in person on a hybrid schedule (three days per week): Bloomfield, CT, Chattanooga, TN, Denver, CO, St Louis, MO, or Scottsdale, AZ.
Role summary
This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end internal and external communication planning and execution for various baseline initiatives and special projects across Cigna lines of business that affect providers. These activities include distributing internal and external communications on time and within the agreed-upon budget. This position may support Provider Communications Advisors on complex projects by working on key messages, drafting communications, organizing information, or updating communication plans.
Responsibilities
Assess initiatives, outlining dependencies, risks, mitigation options, tactics, timelines, resources, and costs.
Participates in project meetings as a provider communication subject matter expert.
Advises and works alongside leaders and key matrix partners to build optimal provider-focused strategies.
Maintains thorough understanding of business/program goals, objectives, impacts, and processes in order to offer unique provider communication solutions.
Develop and lead internal and external provider communications plans and tactics.
Plan a wide variety of communications such as letters, flyers, quick reference guides, presentations, newsletter articles, emails, FAQs, talking points, etc.
Collaborate with internal partners such as Provider Communications team members to ensure communication development objectives are met.
Ensure all communications and materials are consistent with the Cigna text standards, brand and culture, and meet national and state legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage mail list and communication review to secure required sign-offs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Perform other duties as assigned or identified.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in health care communications or a related field.
Broad business knowledge of the health care services industry.
Experience developing communication plans and collaterals.
Experience evaluating business objectives and audience’s needs to develop communications plans and appropriate tactics.

Strong writing and proofreading skills.
Ability to connect people to work together to get things done.
Ability to work independently and proactively, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Strong business acumen.
Strong peer and senior leader relationship management skills to foster collaboration, value others’ perspectives, negotiate, influence, and gain support and buy-in.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 75,700 - 126,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
