Job Description:
LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
Keep operations on track and your career in motion as a Logistics Analyst with GDIT at the Joint Multinational Simulation Center - Indo Pacific, the Pacific’s premier simulation complex. . Your work supporting supply chain and logistics at GDIT will power global missions and your long-term career growth.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT :
Responsibilities will include property accountability, inventory management, and asset tracking
Maintain accurate records of inventory
Assist customer in maintaining auditability of accountable property, will help develop metrics, maintain compliance reports, sending notifications, develop/maintain/update SOP's
Ability to use good judgment and personal initiative in recognizing appropriate action to be taken for completion of tasks is a must
Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Assists customer with shipping and receiving, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all shipments
Assist the facilities manager with planning for routine scheduling, exercises and special events
Foster a positive work environment
Perform other duties as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: HS Diploma or GED required; AA or BS preferred
Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience; MTC experience preferred; military experience preferred
Required Technical Skills:
Expert knowledge of Command Supply Discipline Program
Knowledge of other Army or DoW regulations and industry compliance standards
Knowledge of other supply chain management software
Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance required
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Superb organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools
Must be able to lift 40lbs
Must have current driver’s license

The likely salary range for this position is $61,402 - $70,611. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
