Job Title: General Laborer – Restoration (Flood Damage)
Job Description
We are hiring General Laborers to support residential restoration work for housing units affected by recent flooding at Schofield Barracks. There are 200+ damaged units, and this project is expected to last up to 6 months, offering steady work for reliable individuals.
This role involves basic construction clean‑up and restoration support. Entry‑level candidates with general labor experience are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
Perform general labor and clean‑up tasks in flood‑damaged residential units
Remove debris and assist with restoration activities
Support trades with basic tasks related to insulation, carpentry, and mechanical work
Follow all jobsite safety protocols
Wear required PPE at all times (hard hat, safety shoes, high‑visibility vest/shirt, safety glasses; long sleeves preferred)
Requirements
Valid REAL ID required for base access
If driving: Vehicle must be completely legal with valid driver’s license and current registration
Ability to access to Schofield Barracks Day Passes will be Issued
Basic general labor or construction experience
Ability to perform physical work for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
Previous construction or restoration experience
Experience with insulation, carpentry, or mechanical support work
Completion of the Lead Renovator Initial Course (can be scheduled if needed)
Pay & Schedule
$20/hour
Full‑time, daytime hours
Project length: up to 6 months

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
