Senior Project Engineering Manager – Power Generation (Hybrid)
Location: Schenectady, NY
Pay: $66.42/hr
Schedule: Mon–Fri
Travel: 1 week/month
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Senior Project Engineering Manager to support a global leader in the energy and power generation industry. This is a high‑impact engineering leadership role where you’ll drive technical strategy, lead cross‑functional teams, and oversee delivery of large‑scale power projects across the Americas.
What You’ll Do
Lead engineering planning, scheduling, and execution for BOP‑scoped projects
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and partners
Coordinate with global engineering hubs and cross‑functional teams
Review specifications, manage scope changes, and ensure requirement flow‑down
Solve technical challenges and support sourcing, vendors, and installation teams
Champion quality, continuous improvement, and mentorship of junior engineers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field
6+ years of relevant engineering or project leadership experience
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of mechanical/electrical codes and compliance
Experience with turbomachinery, generators, controls, or power systems
Preferred
Energy or power generation industry experience
Background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering
Global or cross‑functional leadership exposure

Pay Details: $66.42 per hour
