About the Opportunity

Join our dynamic finance team as an Accounting Intern and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate finance. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with professionals in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Statutory Reporting, and Treasury. You'll assist in creating reports, reconciling finance activities, and performing financial analytics, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the financial operations within a health care organization.

What You'll Do

  • Assisting the creation of financial reports.

  • Perform reconciliations of finance activities.

  • Conduct financial analytics and data analysis.

  • Support the Accounting, FP&A, Statutory Reporting, and Treasury teams.

  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Intern Requirements

  • Degree or Equivalent : Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Academic Standing : Good

  • GPA Requirement : N/A

Skills and Experience

Required Job Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Pay Transparency

MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles. Specific employment offers and associated compensation will be extended individually based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location; relevant experience, education, and training; and the nature of and demand for the role.

Pay Rate: $18 - $25 per hour
