TEKsystems Customer Service Representative in Schaumburg, Illinois
We’re seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Customer Support Specialist to join a fast‑paced fleet services team. This role is perfect for someone who excels in written communication, enjoys case‑based problem solving, and thrives in a support-focused environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams, drivers, and account managers to resolve issues, manage service requests, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
This is not a high‑call‑volume role — it is a heavy email and case resolution position requiring strong research skills and multi‑tasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high volume of customer emails and case tickets through a CRM (Salesforce)
Support account managers by assisting with vehicle ordering, service coordination, and driver inquiries
Research and resolve customer issues such as billing questions, impounded vehicles, missing documentation, and service needs
Communicate frequently with internal departments to gather information and resolve cases efficiently
Utilize internal systems to create vehicle selectors, process billing updates, distribute insurance cards, and update driver data
Make outbound calls to customers or drivers to gather missing information or provide follow‑up
Accurately enter and update customer information while handling inquiries in real time
Generate basic reports and maintain documentation for all case activity
Collaborate via MS Teams and Outlook with both internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of office-based customer service experience
Strong written communication skills and professional grammar
High level of computer literacy, including handling multiple systems and dual monitors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel – basic level)
Strong data entry and typing skills (minimum 40 WPM required)
Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot issues, and think creatively to find solutions
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform
Background in fleet services, logistics, or transportation environments
Experience with case management or email‑heavy customer support roles

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
