ManpowerGroup Manufacturing Engineer II in Scarborough, Maine

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive leadership, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer II

Location: Scarborough, ME

Pay Range: $58/hr

What's the Job?

  • Exercise knowledge of technical skills and understanding of manufacturing operations to lead complex technical tasks

  • Set direction for manufacturing engineering projects, taking ownership of tasks with multiple inter-coordinating elements

  • Anticipate and identify key issues, making recommendations for resolution where precedent may not exist

  • Apply innovative methods and approaches, considering the impact on system components

  • Collaborate with peers and mentors through peer review processes to ensure project success

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering

  • 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions
