Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – $70/hr – Scappoose, OR – In-Person – 6 MonthsPosition Overview:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst provides consultation, coaching, behavioral evaluations, and develops/implements individualized behavior intervention plans for students with academic and behavioral needs. This role functions as a clinical instructor responsible for observing, assessing, and supporting behavioral service delivery in a school setting.
Assignment Details:
Location: Scappoose, OR
Start Date: 01/26/2026
End Date: Approximately 6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 24 hours per week
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Modality: In-person
Openings: 1 position
Details of Assignment:
Providing ongoing behavioral support for a 5th-grade student with significant behavioral and medical needs (severe behaviors, seizure disorder, Pica, dysregulation, non-verbal communication).
Primary assignment is 1:1 support; district is working toward inclusion through a push-in model.
Responsibilities include behavior plan implementation, data collection, staff coaching, and coordinated behavioral support.
Behaviors include elopement, hitting/kicking/biting, toileting needs, seizure monitoring, AAC device support, and Pica-related safety.
Position requires strong experience with high-needs behavioral profiles, crisis-response familiarity, and a calm, adaptive approach.
Responsibilities:
Conduct behavioral evaluations, functional assessments, and data-driven analysis.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans.
Provide coaching, modeling, and consultation to educational staff.
Observe, support, and assess behavior programming within an inclusion framework.
Maintain compliant documentation and follow professional standards of practice.
Requirements:
Current BCBA certification through BACB
Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or related field
Experience providing behavior analytic services in schools preferred
One year of pediatric experience preferred
Must comply with all professional standards of practice
CPR certification if applicable
TB screening and current health certificate per state guidelines
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
