Process Leader - Night Shift 6pm - 6am - M4

PROCESS LEAD – Warehouse Floor- Saxonburg, PA – Night 6pm - 6am- M4

PURPOSE

Focuses on the day-to-day activities within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. This position involves ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely, managing inventory levels, and maintaining accurate records. Works closely with the Warehouse Manager to support overall operational goals. Supervises the activities of designated manufacturing or Supply Chain processes.

The Process Lead provides daily leadership by monitoring operational measures, assuring customer requirements are met, identifying basic operational problems, finding solutions to these problems and implementing them accordingly for their designated manufacturing processes.

You will organize the work efforts of team members to achieve and exceed team performance goals, which, conform to established operating procedures and good manufacturing practices. Also supports ongoing continuous improvement efforts.

The Process Lead assists in the hiring process of new team members and administers policies and procedures, ensuring that proper communication with employees is completed for their assigned processes. You may also fill in and perform activities of workers supervised when needed.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures accuracy of quality, shift and production records and data entry;

  • Trains and/or directs the efforts of Ops or team trainers to ensure team members effectively perform job duties;

  • Lead the development and execution of team improvement plans to achieve higher levels of operational excellence and performance;

  • Provides day to day feedback, both recognition and opportunities for improvement to team members on their performance;

  • Conduct/direct ongoing training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge;Supports ongoing continuous improvement projects;

  • Assists in the process of implementing corrective actions, including recommended disciplinary actions, in order to resolve individual team member performance issues;

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all team members, other Process Leads, Production Supervisors, Production Manager, Production Planners and Quality, Engineering and Maintenance support personnel;

  • Tracks attendance, approves PTO and documents hours for payroll purposes;

  • Provides input into performance feedback, including administration at the direction of management;

  • Monitors all training records for team members to ensure compliance.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years overall relevant experience in medical device assembly, mechanical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly;

  • 1 year leadership experience;

  • 1 year of quality control experience;

  • 1 year of production planning or inventory control experience;

  • Proven sound judgment, continuous improvement, and customer focus;

  • Demonstrated adaptability and teamwork skills;

  • Demonstrated advanced problem solving skills;

  • Strong communication skills: effectively conveys problems, opportunities and results within and across departments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree or APICS Certificate.

Employees can expect to be paid an hourly wage of at least $25.89 per hour plus $2.00 per hour shift diferential. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
