Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager Patient Safety will coordinate the risk management & patient safety program, including participation in clinical risk management, patient and visitor safety program administration and education for this facility. This position contributes toward those systems necessary for identification, evaluation, monitoring, reduction and/or elimination of professional and general liability risk exposures. The Manager will also provide counseling and education to facility leadership, clinical and non-clinical personnel, and medical staff members related to risk exposures including risk prevention and patient safety initiatives. The Patient Safety Manager will lead the Patient Safety Committee and drive patient safety goals and campaigns within the facility. Apply today to join our incredible quality team!
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Risk Management or Healthcare related field preferred
RN license and/or Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS) or Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred
3+ years of hospital patient safety and/or risk management experience required; 1+ years of supervisor/leadership experience required
