Citi Trends Lease Administrator in Savannah, Georgia
CITITRENDS is seeking a Lease Administrator to support the accounting, auditing, and administration of lease obligations across our store and office portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial management of lease-related expenses, maintaining compliance with lease terms, and supporting strong landlord relationships.
The Lease Administrator will play a key role in managing rent payments, reconciling expenses, and identifying discrepancies, while contributing to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.
What Youll Do
Lease Administration & Financial Management
Oversee financial transactions related to lease payments, renewals, common area maintenance (CAM), taxes, and insurance
Ensure all lease-related billing and financial obligations are processed accurately and on time
Compile and maintain monthly rent rolls for assigned stores, including updates and changes
Administer lease accounting functions, including impound reconciliations, invoice processing, check requests, and real estate payables
Audit & Compliance
Interpret lease agreements to ensure charges align with contractual terms
Identify, investigate, and dispute charges that are not permitted under lease agreements
Maintain accurate and organized lease documentation to support audits and reporting
Cross-Functional Support
Communicate effectively with landlords, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiencies within lease administration
Perform additional duties as needed to support business priorities
What Were Looking For
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in computer systems, including spreadsheets, databases, and standard office tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read, interpret, and apply lease agreements and legal documents
Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Willingness to travel as needed
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree preferred
24 years of experience in accounting, lease administration, or a related field
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
Frequent use of hands for data entry and document handling
Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written)
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
