Job Summary and Qualifications

The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day clerical operations for the assigned C-Suite Executive(s). The Executive Assistant maintains files and correspondence, generates reports, and answers incoming calls and directs them appropriately. The Executive Assistant acts as liaison between department directors and staff, assists with special projects, transcribes minutes from various meetings and assists staff, guests, patients, families, staff, etc. with any questions and directs them to appropriate personnel for assistance.

What you will do in this role:

  • Perform administrative support functions (i.e. calendar management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, report generation, correspondence, etc.) for the assigned executives.

  • Provide assistance and support as requested including internal relations and community activities.

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of Administrative office.

  • Coordinate committees, meetings, etc. including scheduling, agenda, taking/typing minutes, etc. as requested.

  • Maintain administrative files and other correspondence as indicated.

  • Serve as ambassador of administration by providing high level of customer service (i.e. polite & professional telephone etiquette, prompt response to physician needs & requests, prompt & courteous response to all customer needs and/or concerns, etc.).

  • Coordinate and manage other administratively directed functions as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible clerical experience required.

  • Experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.

  • Typing speed of 75 wpm and excellent written and oral communication skills required.

  • Excellent computer skills required.
