Advanced Practice Provider Critical Care Fellowship

Our vision is to prepare outstanding acute care nurse practitioners and certified physician assistants with in-depth didactic material, practical simulation, and strong clinical experiences, while developing critical thinking and procedural skills for successful critical care practice.
About the Fellowship program:
Our 9-month program at HCA Memorial Health University Medical Center gives acute care nurse practitioners or physician assistants the post-training competence with high acuity ICU diagnoses and common invasive ICU procedures allowing them to rapidly enter the ICU provider workforce. New graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Applicants must be acute care boarded, licensed NP or PA with an active Georgia license before starting the fellowship
Rotations with focus on critically ill medical, neuro, and cardiovascular patient populations
Receive feedback through exams, regular evaluations by each mentor, and competency-based procedure validation forms
Supervised Clinical hours and dedicated educational hours each week
15 clinical shifts per month with protected didactic learning
W2 Employed position, Salary and Benefits provided
Timeline: Inaugural Program to start Sept/Oct 2026 and conclude Summer 2027
