BXL Inc Agricultural Equipment Operator in Savage, Montana

Temporary Fulltime position from 3-1-2026 to 12-31-2026 48 Hours/week $18.48/ hour US worker H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $16.68 We are an agriculture enterprise primarily custom harvesting crop. Crops include hay, small grain, and corn. We utilize seasonal help during the peak harvest season to help harvest and transport these crops. Employees will need to operate agricultural equipment to harvest and transport crops to farms and storage areas. Complete routine maintenance and repairs including general lubrication, service, and incidental repair of agricultural equipment. Perform a variety of duties to maintain upkeep and organization of the yard, work facilities, and equipment. Complete general farm and workshop duties as assigned. Travel with the crew during harvest season is required. On our own farm we farm with forage crops including hay, small grain, and corn. We need seasonal help to plant, raise, and harvest these crops. Employees will need to operate agricultural equipment to tend, harvest and transport crops to farms, elevators, or storage areas. Perform a variety of duties to maintain and upkeep the organization of the yard, work facilities, and agricultural equipment. Complete general farm duties as assigned. Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, walking, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to listed pay in his sole discretion. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. (Bonus criteria: 1. Performance / Skillset 2. Staying for duration of harvest. 3. Attitude and Communication) Deductions required by law. Employer may deduct the reasonable cost of damages &/or replacement of tools &/or equipment if such repair or replacement results from willful neglect or gross negligence after damage has occurred & after gaining the employee's written authorization to make the deduction. Employer may deduct the reasonable cost of negligent damage to lodging facilities & vehicles after damage has occurred and after gaining the employee's written authorization to make the deduction. Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, walking, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must have a regular driver's license. Require 3 months experience.
