Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical work. The technician will work independently on both older, manual machines as well as newer automated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical-based maintenance on machinery.

  • Conduct tasks involving pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Execute preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failures.

  • Engage in welding and machine maintenance activities.

  • Troubleshoot PLCs and install equipment as necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Experience in preventive maintenance.

  • Skilled in welding and mechanical tasks.

  • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.

  • At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • General understanding of PLCs.

  • Experience with mechanical maintenance.

Work Environment

You will join a team of three other maintenance technicians but will primarily work solo on the 2nd shift. The working hours are from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Savage, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63606.40 - $63606.40/yr.

Direct hire, great growth opportunity with a national company. Do not need to train on 1st shift. On-call maybe once or twice per year.

This is a fully onsite position in Savage,MN.
