Lake Superior Academy is hiring a Part Time GSRP/Latch Key Aide. 3 hours per day at $15 hourly - 5 days per week.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GSRP/Latch Key Aide to support the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) in providing high-quality early childhood education. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The GSRP Aide will work closely with the teaching staff to enhance children's educational experiences and promote their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with GSRP curriculum standards.
Support children in their daily activities, including play, meals, and rest periods, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Help maintain a clean and organized classroom, including preparing materials and setting up activities.
Collaborate with teachers to assess and document children's growth and progress through observations and informal assessments.
Foster positive relationships with children and encourage their participation and engagement in classroom activities.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom activities, as needed.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.
Provide instructional assistance under the supervision of the classroom Teacher.
Provide individual and small group instruction.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the lead teacher or program coordinator.
