ManpowerGroup Purchasing & Logistics Manager in Saukville, Wisconsin

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchasing & Logistics Manager to join their team. As a Purchasing & Logistics Manager, you will be an integral part of the operations department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Purchasing & Logistics Manager

What's the Job?

  • Lead customer service, order management, purchasing, logistics coordination, and inventory level management activities.

  • Manage customer orders from quotation through shipment, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and timely fulfillment.

  • Oversee purchasing activities, including supplier coordination, negotiation, procurement, and materials planning.

  • Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support customer demand, manufacturing schedules, and service requirements.

  • Coordinate logistics and shipping activities to support efficient order fulfillment and on-time delivery.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, order management, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or operations.

  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Knowledge of order processing, purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory level management, and logistics processes.

  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
