ROLE OVERVIEW: The internship runs from June - August 2026 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements) You must be actively enrolled in university/college with a focus in one of the following majors: Construction Management/Materials Management/Project Manager Maintenance Engineering/Estimating Manufacturing Environmental KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Desired Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to work well with others in a team-setting Strong communication skills: verbal & written Attention to detail Strong work ethic and desire to learn Strong customer service skills Effective problem-solving abilities Background in Microsoft Office Minimum GPA 3.00 Position Details: Report to department manager/supervisor Work closely with members of the respective department and others as needed Complete an internship-long project 12-week full-time OR part-time internship MUST pass pre-employment drug screen & background checks Take on various tasks as needed/able ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Knife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
