Shift: 1st Shift (Mon - Fri 6AM - 2:30PM), 2nd Shift (Mon - Fri 2PM - 10:30PM) and 3rd Shift (Sun - Thur: 10PM-6:30AM) OT as needed.
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $ 15.75 - $16.75/Hour
About the Role
Adecco is seeking Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing client in Sarasota, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that frequently converts temporary associates to full-time employees.
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring quality standards, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machines and related equipment.
Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting.
Follow work instructions, safety policies, and GMP standards.
Conduct quality inspections and complete necessary documentation.
Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.
Cross-train in other areas as needed.
Additional tasks may include:
Performing first-piece inspections and continuous quality checks.
Using measurement tools (calipers, gauges) for product verification.
Material handling, mixing, and machine adjustments.
Qualifications
Previous machine operation experience in a production environment preferred.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic math and computer skills.
Familiarity with measurement tools and small hand tools.
Dependable and adaptable to change.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
Work Environment
Air-conditioned manufacturing facility.
Parking available onsite (no public transportation access).
PPE provided; dress code will be discussed during onboarding.
Pay Details: $15.75 per hour
