Machine Operator – Sarasota, FL

Shift: 1st Shift (Mon - Fri 6AM - 2:30PM), 2nd Shift (Mon - Fri 2PM - 10:30PM) and 3rd Shift (Sun - Thur: 10PM-6:30AM) OT as needed.

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $ 15.75 - $16.75/Hour

About the Role

Adecco is seeking Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing client in Sarasota, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that frequently converts temporary associates to full-time employees.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring quality standards, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machines and related equipment.

  • Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting.

  • Follow work instructions, safety policies, and GMP standards.

  • Conduct quality inspections and complete necessary documentation.

  • Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.

  • Cross-train in other areas as needed.

Additional tasks may include:

  • Performing first-piece inspections and continuous quality checks.

  • Using measurement tools (calipers, gauges) for product verification.

  • Material handling, mixing, and machine adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Previous machine operation experience in a production environment preferred.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

  • Basic math and computer skills.

  • Familiarity with measurement tools and small hand tools.

  • Dependable and adaptable to change.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Work Environment

  • Air-conditioned manufacturing facility.

  • Parking available onsite (no public transportation access).

  • PPE provided; dress code will be discussed during onboarding.

Pay Details: $15.75 per hour
