Aerotek Structural Welder- Night Shift in Sapulpa, Oklahoma

Job Title: Structural Welder

Job Description

We are looking for skilled Structural Welders to join our team with positions available on the night shift. The night shift runs from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, Monday to Friday, with the potential for Saturday hours. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates, particularly graduates from the Tulsa Welding School, who are eager to work in a dynamic shop environment supporting the Energy industry and handling a variety of projects based on customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and Flux core welding tasks.

  • Work from customer drawings and specifications to complete welding projects.

  • Ensure all welding meets the required 2G MIG Root, Flux Fill & Cap standards.

  • Collaborate effectively within a primarily Spanish-speaking department.

  • Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in all welding tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG and Flux core welding.

  • Ability to pass 2G MIG Root, Flux Fill & Cap tests.

  • Welding School Graduate or equivalent experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bilingual or Spanish-speaking abilities are preferred but not required.

  • Experience in blueprint reading is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dynamic shop setting that supports the Energy industry while also handling a variety of projects. Employees can expect to work in shifts with potential overtime, adhering to a safety-focused and quality-driven ethos. The department primarily communicates in Spanish, although bilingual abilities are not mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sapulpa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
