Business Analyst – Regulatory Reporting

About the role

As a Business Analyst – Regulatory Reporting you will make an impact by ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, compliant, and scalable Axiom‑based reporting solutions across multiple U.S. regulatory domains. You will be a valued member of the Regulatory Technology team and work collaboratively with Finance, Risk, and Technology stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end requirements lifecycle for Axiom regulatory reporting solutions.

  • Drive initiatives related to CCAR, Liquidity Risk, and Federal Reserve reporting.

  • Produce high‑quality business and functional documentation.

  • Perform data analysis and mapping across complex data ecosystems.

  • Support testing cycles and regulatory/audit inquiries.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Sao Paulo, SP. What you need to have to be considered

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Advanced English

· Strong hands‑on experience with U.S. regulatory reporting (CCAR, FR Y‑14, FR Y‑9C, FR 2052a).

· Background supporting Axiom ControllerView regulatory reporting implementations.

· Advanced data analysis and source‑to‑target data mapping skills.

· Intermediate SQL for data validation and investigation.

· Experience developing BRDs, FRDs, and process documentation.

· Knowledge of financial products and accounting concepts.

· Experience supporting SIT/UAT testing and defect management.

These will help you stand out

· List the most important nice-to-haves in descending order

· Top 5 most important contributions in descending order

· Background with Treasury International Capital, FDIC Call Reports, FINRA FOCUS, Basel III (LCR/NSFR), and DFAST/CCAR stress testing.

· OFSAA experience.

· Exposure to large-scale financial data warehouse environments.
