Cognizant Support Spanish Agents for Waze in Sao Paulo, SP - Rochavera, Brazil
Job Summary
The Crisis Agent is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and reliability of the Waze map by managing critical, time-sensitive updates. This role acts as a key point of communication between users and the platform, ensuring that real-world events—such as road closures, accidents, or large public events—are reflected promptly and accurately on the map.
The agent proactively researches potential traffic-impacting situations and collaborates with platform tools and external sources to keep information current, supporting a safe and efficient navigation experience for users.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate effectively between Waze users and the platform to ensure timely map updates
Monitor and update the map with critical information such as road closures, detours, and event-related traffic changes
Proactively research potential road closures, incidents, and disruptions using tools such as Google Search and other reliable sources
Validate information accuracy before implementing updates to the platform
Follow established crisis management procedures and respond according to priority and urgency
Document actions taken and maintain clear records of updates and decisions
Meet productivity and quality guidelines while maintaining attention to detail
Required Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions
Good internet research skills and familiarity with online tools
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service , support, or operations (a plus)
Experience working with maps, navigation tools, or real-time data environments is an advantage
Work Model
- Hybrid work model , with regular work from the Cognizant office in São Paulo, Brazil
