Amazon Technical Program Manager, BR Supply Chain & Integration in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Description
BR Supply Chain and Integration team is looking for a an experienced Technical Program Manager to independently manage small to medium-sized technology programs and deliver improvements to products while meeting program goals. This role requires a balance of technical understanding, cross-functional collaboration, and strong execution capabilities.
Key job responsibilities
Program Management & Execution
Manage difficult and cross-functional technology projects from inception to completion
Deliver improvements to products and meet program goals independently
Partner with technical managers to secure resources, scope engineering efforts, and set priorities
Drive crisp and timely decisions to accelerate progress
Clear blockers and escalate appropriately while keeping scope under control
Technical Leadership
Possess solid understanding of design approaches and industry technologies in your program area
Understand the larger business picture and deeply comprehend technical requirements of solutions being built
Prevent or mitigate consequences of poor technology decisions
Recognize when proposed designs are too complex or risky
Competently represent your team's systems to both technical and non-technical audiences
Communication & Documentation
Own program communication across stakeholders
Transform raw thoughts into clear, consistent, accurate technical documentation
Write PR/FAQs and support OP1-2 planning efforts
Build consensus and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
Process Improvement
Improve team processes and metrics
Apply process improvement methodologies (Agile, Lean, Kaizen)
Incorporate system quality and operational excellence improvements into project plans

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
2+ years of software development experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
