About the Role:
We are looking for a Specialist, Sales EIC Selling - LATAM to join the Academic Team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Closing new sales with VIP customers
Retaining current VIP customers
Upselling to VIP customers
You will work directly with customers in the design, deployment, and assessment of educational solutions for K-12 and adult environments (language institutes, universities, corporate, government), including digital and print content, assessment, professional development, and certifications. This role requires knowledge of educational environments, pedagogical approaches to ELT, bilingual education, and familiarity with the Pearson portfolio. Regular travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver financial commitments for new VIP adoption, retention, and upselling
Drive business development based on the annual strategy
Present and train on Pearson's digital and print learning content, assessments, services, and certifications
Conduct school visits to analyze customer needs and build programs aligned with local curricula
Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers
Required skills and experience:
Strong alignment with Pearson’s culture and values
Professional Post-Graduation in Education or related areas (MA desirable)
C1 English proficiency (certified)
Teaching experience in the classroom
Familiarity with best practices in language learning (including phonics-based instruction), local educational policies, and international curricula (US, UK, IB, or other)
Digital literacy (platforms, LMS, e-texts, digital repositories, word processing, online resources)
Proven experience in consulting sales
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work cooperatively and autonomously
Problem-solving skills, empathy, flexibility, resilience, stress management
Ability to work in a hybrid model (remote + field work)
Adaptability to new learning trends and technologies
High-impact presentation skills
Desirable Additional Skills:
Full, valid driving licence (Category B)
