What You’ll Do?
In this role, you’ll ensure customer payments are accurately applied and discrepancies are resolved efficiently—helping the business make informed financial decisions.
Apply daily customer payments (bank transfers, lockbox, ACH, credit cards, and other methods) accurately and on time
Reconcile customer accounts and research unapplied, unidentified, or misapplied cash
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in partnership with customers, internal teams, and banking partners
Communicate clearly and professionally regarding payment status, issues, and resolutions
Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and compliance requirements
Support month‑end close activities, including reporting and account reconciliations
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation in cash application workflows
What You Bring?
Required
Experience in Accounts Receivable or Cash Applications (typically 2+ years or equivalent hands‑on experience)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment
Professional communication skills in Portuguese and English (intermediate to advanced)
Nice to Have
Experience in a multinational, shared services, or complex matrix environment
Familiarity with banking platforms and automated cash application tools
Exposure to process improvement or finance transformation initiatives
