Senior Tax Advisory Analyst

Technical and strategic role focused on tax intelligence. The primary focus is to ensure the correct interpretation, updating, and application of indirect tax legislation across all company operations, ensuring that legal changes are translated into efficient and secure business processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret daily indirect tax legislation (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS/COFINS, IBS, and CBS), ensuring communication of necessary changes to impacted areas after alignment with management;

  • Validate that new legal guidelines are correctly applied to billing and procurement workflows, preventing technical interpretation errors;

  • Act on the Tax Reform project , assisting in defining how new rules should be implemented both systemically and operationally;

  • Provide advisory support to Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing departments regarding tax operations;

  • Prepare and analyze formal tax rulings (consultas) , special regime requests, and technical documents for submission to competent authorities;

  • Provide support during tax audits and inspections.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (JD equivalent);

  • Consolidated experience in indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS/COFINS);

  • Experience in drafting technical legal opinions and providing advisory support to business units;

  • Experience in implementing tax projects ;

  • Proven track record in tax compliance, auditing, and inspections;

  • Experience with AI tools applied to tax advisory (e.g., NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Gemini);

  • Advanced English.

Preferred Qualifications (Differentiators):

  • Experience in Big 4 firms or tax law firms;

  • Postgraduate degree in Tax Law or Fiscal Management;

  • Knowledge of SAP.
