Jostens Client Services Supervisor in Santiago, Dominican Republic

JOB TITLE: Client Services Supervisor

LOCATION: SPI Santiago - On site

SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:

Perform a leadership role in the direct supervision Customer Service and Care Center functions, utilizing the support of the team to insure the day to day and future operations of these mission critical functions are on task according to company policies and management direction. Provides help and assist in all the activities related to the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must project a strong leadership presence in leading by example, acting on facts to assess each associates' development and coaching needs, and to ensure accurate entry and completion of orders and returns administration in a financially responsible manner

  • Recognize the importance of focusing all resources to continually look for opportunities to reduce entry (OE &CCC) errors and improve work throughput.

  • Evaluate and streamline processes and system applications based on supporting data to continuously maximize productivity.

  • Perform all associate quality, disciplinary and merit reviews in a timely and complete manner using corporate guidelines and adhere to budgetary direction.

  • Assisting the Mgr Client Services in the tracking and monitoring of quality measurement and management for the organization, and other projects as directed by management.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES – In any job with supervisory responsibilities, the following are an explicit part of the incumbent’s responsibilities and essential functions:

  • Participate in decisions related to the selection, promotion, transfer, pay and discipline of assigned personnel.

  • Clearly communicate job duties and responsibilities to enable individuals to proceed with certainty in the performance of their positions.

  • Monitor the work performance of assigned personnel continually; conduct effective performance reviews; take corrective action whenever necessary and, where necessary, work with HR Generalists to establish performance improvement plans.

  • Support the development of assigned personnel’s skills and abilities and demonstrate by personal example the desired standards of conduct (Jostens values) and work performance.

  • Identify and resolve skill gaps and succession issues.

  • Administer Company policies regarding discipline, absenteeism, etc., fairly, and equitably, and fully document all incidents and actions taken.

  • Involve assigned HR Generalist on compliance issues such as pay equity, equal opportunity in hiring and promotions, and proper procedures for hiring, terminations, lay-offs, etc.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field;

    • 3 years related experience
  • Bilingual English and spanish

  • +3 years experience in Customer service Neff/DR

PREFERRED:

  • 1-3 years in the Sales Logix Contact Management systems
