As a Lead Cost Accountant , you will play a key role in leading and optimizing end‑to‑end finance processes across our manufacturing network. You will ensure financial accuracy, process standardization, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with plant teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence and support business objectives at a regional or global level.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Driving Financial Excellence – Cost & Close Management

  • Own and execute the cost closure process for the Omaha, Memphis, and Lancaster plants, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Analyze cost results and variations arising from the close, identifying root causes and improvement opportunities.

  • Generate and deliver Supply Chain Finance closure reports, including plant performance analysis and COGS insights.

  • Provide innovation cost calculations and set Cost of Production to support business initiatives and decision making.

Supporting Operations – Plant Finance Partnership

  • Support manufacturing plants with order settlement activities and budget setting processes.

  • Perform factory expense analysis and manage accruals to ensure correct cost recognition.

  • Act as a trusted finance partner for plant leadership, helping translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead documentation of finance processes, ensuring clear standards, transparency, and audit readiness.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices across supply chain finance.

  • Ensure adherence to local regulations, corporate policies, and external requirements.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support process harmonization and scalable finance operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a results‑driven mindset.Advanced English communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Solid knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.

  • Strong process orientation and capability to manage stress in a dynamic environment.
