Now Hiring: Quality Control Inspector

$25-$29/hr
What You’ll Do
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on machined parts, castings, assemblies, purchased components, and raw materials at multiple stages of production
Conduct inspections in accordance with industry and quality standards, including MSS SP‑55, API, ASTM, ANSI/HI, and ISO
Select and use the appropriate inspection methods, gauges, fixtures, indicators, and precision measuring equipment to verify critical dimensions and specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure compliance
Prepare and complete inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection (FAI), in‑process, final, certified inspections, RMAs, and final pump inspections prior to shipment
Identify non‑conforming materials and create Non‑Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) to support corrective action
Inspect incoming materials and components, including review of supplier documentation and certifications
Collaborate with Receiving, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to determine proper disposition and resolution
Accurately record inspection activity and timing in the manufacturing system (Global Shop)
Support internal audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions as directed
Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential quality records
Follow all safety procedures and established operating practices
Assist with additional quality or inspection tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Hands‑on experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, etc.)
Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
Machine Shop environment experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santee, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
