ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Sr. Director, Strategic Operations Initiatives to lead complex, multi-year strategic initiatives that drive significant impact across global operations. This role requires deep expertise in medical device regulations, international manufacturing, and cross-cultural leadership.
The ideal candidate will spearhead large-scale organizational transformations, ensuring seamless execution while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across regions. This leader oversees critical programs including technology transfers, manufacturing network optimization, and global supply chain transformation within a highly regulated environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead comprehensive transfers of engineering and manufacturing operations across international locations, ensuring successful execution within defined timelines while prioritizing quality, compliance, and the patient outcomes ultimately impacted by these transitions.
- Orchestrate strategic organizational restructuring and operational realignment, driving complex, multi-site transitions with integrity, transparency, and accountability to ensure business continuity and minimal disruption to critical functions.
- Oversee financial and legal transitions associated with global expansion, including the establishment of new legal entities, ensuring all activities are conducted with the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and operational rigor.
- Coordinate global distribution logistics across contract manufacturers and internal operations, optimizing supply chain performance through innovative, adaptable approaches that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and implement advanced project management methodologies, tools, and metrics that foster innovation, enable data-driven decision-making, and drive consistent business performance.
- Spearhead cross-functional planning and execution, partnering across Quality, RandD, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver integrated timelines and budgets tha support organizational excellence.
- Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, providing clear, transparent updates to Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Foster strong collaboration across global teams and with key stakeholders, including physician partners where applicable, to drive alignment, knowledge sharing, and exceptional outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop program leadership talent, promoting a culture of continuous growth, accountability, and bold thinking in pursuit of excellence.
- Approach challenges with boldness and sound judgment, taking smart, strategic risks to enable transformation and long-term success.
