Responsibilities
The HFTC Operations Quality Manager is responsible for leading and sustaining the Operations Business Management System (BMS) and all applicable quality systems and quality standards across HFTC Operations. This role serves as the single point owner for Ops quality systems, ensuring audit readiness, process discipline, corrective/preventative action rigor, and continuous improvement in support of safe, compliant, and high-quality manufacturing and R&D operations. This position partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Labs Quality to ensure alignment to ISO 9001, AS9100, and internal Keysight quality standards, while driving a proactive quality culture across HFTC Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Operations Quality Systems
Lead and sustain the HFTC Operations Business Management System (BMS), ensuring quality processes, documentation, and governance are embedded into daily operations.
- ISO & Audit Leadership
Serve as the Operations representative for all internal and external audits (ISO 9001, AS9100, DEKRA), maintaining continuous audit readiness and driving timely closure of findings.
Program Management
Cross functional Program Management between operations/supply chain/engineering and R&D
Corrective Action & Risk Management
Own Ops related corrective and preventative action processes, including nonconforming product, returns, waivers, and systemic quality risks; ensure robust root cause analysis and closed loop execution.
- Process Control & Change Governance
Govern Operations process change control and ensure manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and quality records remain accurate, current, and compliant.
- Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Define, track, and review Operations quality metrics and dashboards to assess business health, identify gaps, and prioritize continuous improvement actions.
- Quality Culture & Training
Promote a strong quality culture across Operations by ensuring effective training, onboarding, and ongoing quality awareness at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline
5+ years of experience in quality systems, manufacturing operations, or regulated environments
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, corrective action systems, audits, and quality documentation
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and influence without authority
Ability to develop and maintain documentation for complex processes
Must possess elevated attention to detail
Thrives in process development and organizational roles
Preferred
Familiarity with AS9100, export compliance knowledge, product lifecycle (PLC), and R&D to manufacturing transitions
Experience building dashboards and metrics to manage quality systems proactively
The role will be based at our HQ in Santa Rosa, CA. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Santa Rosa area.
