Job Title: Molder / Assembler
Job Description
The Molding Assembler will play a vital role in the production of electrical connectors used to provide power for electric pumps in oil and gas drilling. The position is essential due to the increased demand for energy resources, resulting in a busy work environment.
Responsibilities
Utilize hand tools and measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, diagonal cutters, pneumatic crimpers, thermocouples, and durometers to measure, cut, and mold materials.
Interpret and execute tasks according to engineering blueprints, drawings, work instructions, workmanship standards, and inspection and test procedures.
Perform basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of fractions and decimal measurements.
Conduct visual inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to workmanship standards and BIW specifications.
Maintain accurate production databases (SAP), data logs, and other records as necessary.
Work in a warehouse environment, standing for prolonged periods (2-hour increments), and flex between workstations as needed.
Operate heat presses to mold rubber for required products.
Essential Skills
Commitment to a 6 to 12-month assignment
Willingness to work 10+ hours of overtime some weeks, typically 50+ hours per week
Interpersonal team skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Basic math skills and reading measurements
Effective written and oral communication
Attention to detail
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude to use tools such as cutters and measuring tapes
Ability to perform repetitive tasks without frustration
Strong concentration skills for prolonged periods
Demonstrated accuracy and ability to follow detailed instructions
Capability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly
Basic computer skills to navigate file structures and locate necessary documents
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly, production, and mechanical aptitude

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
