Job Description
Join our innovative team as a Metrology Technician on the swing shift, where you'll play a crucial role in quality assurance processes in a lab setting. You will work with advanced metrology machines and computers to ensure the precision and quality of optical filters and coatings used in various high-tech industries.
Responsibilities
Operate metrology equipment and process wafers, parts, and data.
Perform flatness measurements to ensure parts meet specifications.
Document lab processes accurately.
Conduct wafer and data analysis, identifying irregularities.
Set up testing machines to analyze parts.
Work comfortably with computers and Excel.
Essential Skills
Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel.
Ability to analyze large spreadsheets for extended periods.
Technical inclination with a comfort in repetitive tasks.
Desire for a long-term career opportunity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Entry-level position; candidates from various backgrounds are welcome.
Some college experience is advantageous.
Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.

Work Environment
Work in an open lab setting with a collaborative team of 3-4 members. The role requires wearing closed-toed shoes and gloves while handling products. Shift hours are from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with a daytime training period and the need to work one weekend day each week. The position is temp-to-hire, with eligibility for conversion after 720 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
