This role serves as a senior clinical leader responsible for

overseeing nursing practice, staff performance, and operational outcomes within

a patient care unit, while aligning with broader organizational goals. The

Nurse Service Supervisor 2 manages staffing, workflow, quality improvement, and

regulatory compliance, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care

delivery. Operating with significant autonomy, the position supervises and

develops staff, drives performance metrics, and leads initiatives to improve

patient outcomes, satisfaction, and clinical processes. Additionally, the role

integrates evidence-based practice, data analysis, and education by mentoring

staff, supporting research and innovation, and serving as an expert clinical

resource across the care team.

Salary Range: $128,500.00 - $298,100.00 Annually

Qualifications

  • BSN - required

  • Current California RN license - required

  • ACLS, BLLS and PALS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association - required

  • At least 5 years of recent acute care experience - required

  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience (charge nurse, supervisor, manager, etc.) - preferred

  • Master's Degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, MOL, MSN) - preferred

  • Nursing Professional Leadership Certification (ie: NEA-BC, NE-BC, CNL, CNML) - obtained within 12 months of hire

  • Knowledge to manage disaster incidents, sentinel events and ability to problem solve with Critical Thinking Skills

  • Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
